Books for a buck at the library

The Evanston Public Library has a deal for you:  High-quality gently used books for one dollar each.

The library, at Orrington Avenue and Church Street, will use the proceeds to update its collection.

Current plans are to open up its third-floor Book Sale Room every Monday between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. to hold these special sales “until the supply of books runs out,” it said in a news release.
