Sven Lindroth, executive chef at  Bravo! Cucina Italiana, will be the featured chef at today’s Farmers Market in Evanston. He’ll prepare roasted chicken harvest salad for all to sample.

Chef Lindroth has an Associates Degree in Culinary Arts and a Bachelors in Food Service Management from Johnson and Wales University in Charleston, S.C.

His specialties are Italian, southern/low country/Cajun, French classical, and Caribbean cuisines.

He will be preparing his chicken salad with balsamic dressing from 9 to 11 a.m.  at the Friends of Evanston Farmers Markets tent in the southwest corner of the market, where free copies of his recipe will be available.

The market is located behind the Hilton Garden Inn Evanston and adjacent to the Maple Avenue parking garage.
