Paid Post: Bright Horizons, which offers early education and preschool programs in downtown Evanston, has opened a new center in Skokie.

A grand opening celebration for the new center at 9877 Woods Drive, which opened its doors in mid-October, will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 12. The event will give families the opportunity to meet the teachers, explore classrooms and learn about Bright Horizons’ “The World at Their Fingertips” curriculum.

The event will also include fall-themed children’s activities, face painting, live entertainment, refreshments and raffles.

The Bright Horizons center in Evanston, at 1629 Orrington Ave., opened in 2012 and serves children 6 weeks to 6 years old with infant through kindergarten programs

The new Skokie center serves children from 6 weeks to 5 years old with infant through kindergarten prep programs.

Both centers feature Movements Matters, art, technology, STEM, playgrounds and on-site chefs. These centers offer convenient hours for working families and full- and part-time scheduling options.

Bright Horizons programs empower children from infancy on to become confident, successful learners and secure, caring people.
