Burglary

2400 Howard

Documents were stolen from a 2017 Mercedes in a business parking lot in the 2400 block of Howard Street around 2:45 p.m. yesterday.

1100 Maple

A small Buddha statue was stolen from a 2001 Toyota parked, unlocked, in the 1100 block of Maple Avenue between 4:30 p.m.  Sunday and 8:15 a.m. yesterday.

Theft

900 Washington

A black Schwinn bicycle was stolen from an apartment storage area in the 900 block of Washington Street around 6:33 p.m. yesterday.

2100 Central

A cell phone, left unattended in a restaurant in the 2100 block of Central Street, was stolen yesterday around 11 a.m.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
