Bullet holes were found in a 2015 Mazda at Lake Street and Pitner Avenue at about 7:45 p.m. Sunday.

800 Church

Someone shattered the sunroof of a 2017 Honda in the 800 block of Church Street between 8:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. yesterday.

Rosalie at Jackson

A Volkswagen and a 2017 Toyota sustained scratches near Rosalie Street and Jackson Avenue at about 9:40 p.m. Sunday.

Graffiti

600 Hinman

Graffiti was found on a recycling bin in the 600 block of Hinman Avenue at 12:13 p.m. yesterday.

1500 Wesley

Graffiti was discovered on the grounds at Dewey Elementary School between 4 p.m. Friday and 11:20 a.m. yesterday.

700 Main

Xavier Soto, 27, of 2305 Dempster St., was arrested at 10:29 p.m. Sunday and charged with a violation of the public urination ordinance. He is due in court on Nov. 9 at 9 a.m.

Shots Heard

Maple at Dempster

Gunshots were reported near Maple Avenue and Dempster Street at 5:22 a.m. yesterday. Police checked the area but found nothing.

Theft

1900 Howard

A cell phone and a wallet left unattended at a spa in the 1900 block of Howard Street was stolen yesterday around 6:50 p.m.

500 Chicago

Clothing items that had been delivered to an apartment common area in the 500 block of Chicago Avenue were stolen between 10:30 a.m. Saturday and 3:40 p.m. Sunday.

1800 Greenwood

Someone attempted to remove tires from a 2012 Nissan in the 1800 block of Greenwood Street between 2 a.m. and 5:45 a.m. yesterday.

1200 Greenwood

A “Black Lives Matter” sign was removed from the yard of a home in the 1200 block of Greenwood Street between noon Thursday and noon yesterday.

1300 Fowler

A white 2014 Mercedes 250 sedan was stolen from the 1300 block of Fowler Avenue around 6:12 a.m. today.

1500 Central

A bicycle was stolen from an apartment common area in the 1500 block of Central Street between 4 p.m. Saturday and 11:30 a.m. yesterday.

900 Hamlin

Someone removed vehicle parts from beneath the hood of a 2011 Jeep in the 900 block of Hamlin Street between 10 p.m. Saturday and 2:10 p.m. Sunday.

Traffic

Howard at Elmwood

Benoit Green, 52, of 9161 Keating Ave., Skokie, was arrested at Howard Street and Elmwood Avenue at 1:22 p.m. Thursday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on Oct. 26 at 10:30 a.m.

Church at Maple

Albert C. Louie, 24, of 4711 Ravenswood Ave., Chicago, was arrested at Church Street and Maple Avenue at 6:12 p.m. Sunday and charged with driving under the influence. He is due in court on Dec. 6 at 1:30 p.m.

2225 Emerson

Darius J. Morales, 27, of 4232 N. Mozart St., Chicago, was arrested at 2225 Emerson St. at 12:38 p.m. Sunday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on Nov. 9 at 9 a.m.

 Main at Ridge

Rosa Isela Rangel, 46, of 1815 Washington St., was arrested at Main Street and Ridge Avenue at 12:36 a.m. Monday and charged with a traffic violation. She is due in court on Nov. 2 at 9 a.m.
