Burglary

1100 Dobson

Witnesses saw two unknown persons enter a 2008 Honda in the 1100 block of Dobson Street around 10:10 a.m. yesterday.

1100 Brummel

Someone saw two unknown persons enter a 2009 Chevrolet in the 1100 block of Brummel Street  around 7:15 p.m. yesterday.

Criminal Damage

1700 Monroe

Bullet holes were found in a 2008 Pontiac and the second floor window of a nearby apartment in the 1700 block of Monroe Street after officers responded to a report of shots heard around 11 p.m. yesterday.

Drugs

1655 Foster

William L. Reed, 49, of 4845 Conrad St., Skokie, was arrested at 1655 Foster St. at 7:20 p.m. yesterday and charged with possession of a controlled substance.

Other

1804 Emerson

Dion L. King, 37, of 1802 Lemar Ave., was arrested at 1804 Emerson St. at 11:30 p.m. Wednesday and charged with unlawful use of a weapon as a felon. He is due in court on Aug. 16 at 10:30 a.m.

Theft

900 Dobson

Three bicycles were stolen from an apartment storage area in the 900 block of Dobson Street between July 24 and 10:10 a.m. yesterday.

Traffic

609 Dodge

Sarah A. Horwick, 38, of 1117 McDaniel Ave., was arrested at 609 Dodge Ave. at 11:32 a.m. yesterday and charged with a traffic violation. She is due in court on Sept. 15 at 10:30 a.m.

Lake at Florence

Virginia G. Peinado, 45, of 1632 Pitner Ave., was arrested at Lake Street and Florence Avenue at 4:19 p.m. Saturday and charged with a traffic violation. She is due in court on Sept. 8 at 10:30 a.m.

1325 Howard

Bojan Pejcic, 30, of 1403 W. Sherwin Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 1325 Howard St. at 7:40 p.m. Saturday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on Sept. 13 at 1:30 p.m.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
