Lawn equipment was stolen from a landscaping trailer after a burglar breaks the padlock to enter. This among stories in today’s crime bulletin from Evanston police.

BURGLARY

2100 Jackson

Forced entry to a landscaping trailer was accomplished by breaking a padlock at about 8:30 a.m. yesterday in the 2100 block of Jackson Avenue. Lawn equipment was taken in the burglary.

THEFT

900 Oakton

A key to a vehicle was stolen from a home in the 900 block of Oakton Street between June 11 and 11:30 a.m. yesterday.

900 Dodge

Personal items were taken from the Walgreens Pharmacy in the 900 block of Dodge Avenue at 2:42 p.m. yesterday.

2200 Oakton

Power tools were stolen from the Home Depot in the 2200 block of Oakton Street at 5:21 p.m. yesterday.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute an assumption of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Court in Skokie.
