200 Dodge

A burglar stole jewelry and a flat-panel television set after accessing a condominium via a basement window in the 200 block of Dodge Avenue between 7 a.m. and 7:40 p.m. yesterday

Criminal Damage

1100 Foster

An electrical box was damaged in the 1100 block of Foster Street around 3:17 p.m. yesterday.


1000 Darrow

Graffiti was discovered on a garage in the 1000 block of Darrow Avenue at 8:21 a.m. yesterday.

Shots Heard

Emerson at Grey

Gunshots were reported in the vicinity of Emerson Street and Grey Avenue around 10:45 p.m. yesterday. Police checked the area but found nothing.


Green Bay and Simpson

Tracie E. Brown, 39, of 5240 S. Drexel, Chicago, was arrested at Green Bay Road and Simpson Street at 4:31 p.m. yesterday and charged with a traffic violation. She is due in court on Sept. 27 at 9 a.m.

313 Dodge

Jonathan Jimenez, 20, of 6427 N. Artesian, Chicago, was arrested at 313 Dodge Ave. at 8:37 a.m. yesterday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on Oct. 4 at 10:30 a.m.

1917 Greenleaf

Will M. Woodfork, 33, of 1426 Seward St., was arrested at 1917 Greenleaf St. at 2:05 p.m. yesterday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on Oct. 4 at 10:30 a.m.
