A burglary, aided by an unlocked door, occurred at a home in the 1000 block of Sheridan Road between 6:45 a.m. and 7:15 a.m. yesterday. A wallet was among items taken.

Criminal Damage

2000 Jackson

Someone damaged a screen at an apartment in the 2000 block of Jackson Avenue around 6 p.m. yesterday.

Graffiti

1000 Davis

Graffiti was located in the 1000 block of Davis Street at 10 a.m. yesterday.

Theft

900 Chicago

A bicycle part was stolen at the library branch in the 900 block of Chicago Avenue between 5:40 p.m. and 6 p.m. yesterday.

Traffic

Howard at Bell

Jean Paul Ceber, 25, of 7200 N. Claremont Ave., Chicago, was arrested at Howard Street and Bell Avenue at 9:45 p.m. Monday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court onJune 8 at 1:30 p.m.

1799 Dodge

Fatmataia A. Kargbo, 35, of 1921 Brown Ave., was arrested at 1799 Dodge Ave. at 11 a.m. yesterday and charged with a traffic violation. She is due in court on June 1 at 9 a.m.
