Burglar grabs cash from Nissan on Ridge

Cash and documents were stolen from an unlocked 2004 Nissan.

A burglar took cash and documents from an unlocked Nissan in the 1700 block of Ridge Avenue. This among stories in today’s crime bulletin from Evanston police.

BURGLARY

1700 Ridge

A burglar entered an unlocked 2004 Nissan in the 1700 block of Ridge Avenue around 1 p.m. yesterday and took cash and personal documents.

THEFT

600 Chicago

Merchandise was taken from a convenience store in the 600 block of Chicago Avenue around 9:20 p.m. yesterday.

TRAFFIC

100 Asbury

Anthony D. Doby, 56, of 1510 Darrow Ave., was arrested at 100 Asbury Ave. at 7:05 p.m. Tuesday and charged with driving with a revoked or suspended license.

Howard at Kedzie

Mary Youkhana, 20, of 8353 Drake Ave., Skokie, was arrested at Howard Street and Kedzie Avenue at 11:53 a.m. Tuesday and charged with driving with a revoked or suspended license.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute an assumption of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Court in Skokie.
