BURGLARY

1700 Grove

Power tools were removed from an open garage in the 1700 block of Grove Street between 11:30 p.m. Sunday and 7 a.m. yesterday.

1800 Brown

Personal items were taken from an unlocked 2007 Honda in the 1800 block of Brown Avenue between 9:15 p.m. yesterday and 3:04 a.m. today.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE

1600 Simpson

Someone scratched the passenger side of a 2020 Nissan in a parking lot in the 1600 block of Simpson Street between 9 p.m. Sunday and 8 a.m. yesterday.

SHOTS HEARD

1900 Dodge

A resident reported hearing three gunshots in the 1900 block of Dodge Avenue at 7:02 p.m. yesterday. Police checked the area but found nothing.

THEFT

600 Chicago

Household products were taken from a retail establishment in the 600 block of Chicago Avenue at 10:17 a.m. yesterday.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute an assumption of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Court in Skokie.
