A purse was taken from an unlocked 2007 Cadillac in the 1900 block of Howard Street between 6 p.m. Monday and 7 a.m. yesterday.

Criminal Trespass

1318 Sherman

Jerome William Bynum, 19, of 1457 E. 72nd St., Chicago, was arrested at 1318 Sherman Ave. at 9:26 a.m. yesterday and charged with trespass to land. He is due in court on July 23 at 9 a.m.

Graffiti

900 Reba

Graffiti was discovered at a park in the 900 block of Reba Place at 3:52 p.m. yesterday.

7500 Ridge

Cristian Espino, 22, of 7444 N. Damen Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 7500 Ridge Ave., Chicago, at 7:36 p.m. yesterday and charged with an obstruction violation.

Theft

2400 Main

A shoplifter took clothes from a retail establishment in the 2400 block of Main Street at about 12:15 p.m. yesterday.

3300 Central

Someone stole merchandise from CVS Pharmacy in the 3300 block of Central Street between 3:09 p.m. and 3:40 p.m. yesterday
