300 Callan

Burglars broke out the back door window to gain access to an apartment in the 300 block of Callan Avenue between 11:30 a.m. and 10 p.m. yesterday.

Battery

Ridge at Dempster

Tyler L. Amoroso, 33, of 817 Forest Ave., was arrested at Ridge Avenue and Dempster Street at 10:29 p.m. yesterday and charged with domestic battery. He is due in court on Jan. 3 at 9:30 a.m.

Criminal Trespass

355 Ridge

Theresa M. Fischer, 60, address unknown, was arrested at 355 Ridge Ave. at 7 a.m. today and charged with trespasssing on real property. She is due in court on Feb. 2 at 1:30 p.m.

Graffiti

1700 Orrington

Graffiti defaced a restaurant in the 1700 block of Orrington Avenue between 11:40 p.m. yesterday and 3:03 a.m. today.

Theft

200 Callan

Someone stole a delivered package containing cosmetics from an apartment common area in the 200 block of Callan Avenue between 3:30 p.m. and 9:45 p.m. yesterday.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
