Burglars forced their way into a 2002 Volvo at Greenwood Street and Ashland Avenue and stole a bag between 4:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Theft

900 Church

Someone stole clothes from a store in the 900 block of Church Street around 4:54 p.m. yesterday.

300 Ridge

Cash was taken from a medical office in the 300 block of Ridge Avenue between 5:10 p.m. and 7:43 p.m. yesterday.

601 South Boulevard

Rufus R. Duncan, 44, of 1717 W. Northshore Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 601 South Boulevard at 2:32 p.m. Saturday and charged with retail theft. He is due in court on Nov. 13 at 9 a.m.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
