BURGLARY

1400 Wesley

A 2010 Honda and a 2017 Chevrolet, both unlocked and in the same driveway in the 1400 block of Wesley Avenue, were entered by burglars between 2 a.m. and 5:30 a.m. Sunday.

2000 Dewey

A burglar broke a window to enter a 2014 Chevrolet and steal a purse in a parking lot in the 2000 block of Dewey Avenue around 5:45 p.m. Monday.

500 Michigan

A bicycle was stolen from an unlocked garage in the 500 block of Michigan Avenue around 11 a.m. Monday.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE

800 Main

A window was broken at a convenience store in the 800 block of Main Street at 3:22 p.m. Monday.

THEFT

2200 Oakton

Electrical wire was stolen from Home Depot in the 2200 block of Oakton Street around noon on Monday.

1100 Chicago

Alcoholic products were stolen from Binny’s Beverage Depot in the 1100 block of Chicago Avenue at about 1 p.m. Monday.

1900 Dempster

Food products were stolen from Valli’s Produce in the 1900 block of Dempster Street at about 1:30 p.m. Monday.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute an assumption of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Court in Skokie.
