Burglars grab jewelry, silver on Princeton

Gold earrings, necklaces, and bracelets, plus 23 pieces of silver flatware, were missing in the burglary of a home in the 2700 block of Princeton Avenue. This among the stories in today’s daily crime bulletin from Evanston police.

Burglary

2700 Princeton

Eight pairs of gold earrings, five gold necklaces, six gold bracelets, and 23 pieces of silver flatware were among items taken in the burglary of a home in the 2700 block of Princeton Avenue around 11:37 p.m. yesterday.

Criminal Trespass

7539 Ridge

Larry L. Kelly, 35, of 2428 W. Fitch, Chicago, was arrested at 7539 N. Ridge Ave., Chicago, at 6:11 p.m.  Monday and charged with criminal trespass vehicle. He is due in court on Aug. 3 at 9 a.m.

Howard at Wolcott

Danny Lee Starling, 44, of 139 Ashland Ave., was arrested at Howard Street and Wolcott Avenue, Chicago, at 10:23 p.m. Monday and charged with criminal trespass land. He is due in court on July 15 at 1:30 p.m.

Shots Heard

500 Sheridan

Gunshots were reported in the 500 block of Sheridan Square at 11:37 p.m. yesterday. Police checked the area but found nothing.

Traffic

1325 Howard

Alexandria Devon Barnett, 32, of 6832 N. Wayne, Chicago, was arrested at 1325 Howard St. at 10:39 p.m. yesterday and charged with a traffic violation. She is due in court on July 22 at 10:30 a.m.

400 South Boulevard

Kristian Peter Kissov, 24, of 9395 Landings Lane, Des Plaines, was arrested at 400 South Boulevard at 9:20 p.m. Monday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on July 15 at 9 a.m.

1953 Howard

Carlos Emmanuel Ortega, 27, of 7722 N. Ashland Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 1953 W. Howard St. at 12:20 a.m. today and charged with driving under the influence. He is due in court on July 5 at 9 a.m.

1717 Ridge

James Bradley Vick, 45, of 8703 W. Emerson St., Niles, was arrested at 1717 Ridge Ave. at 10:14 a.m. yesterday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on July 15 at 10:30 a.m.
