BURGLARY
Keeney at Judson
An unlocked 2010 Subaru was entered and ransacked near Keeney Street and Judson Avenue between noon Sunday and 7 a.m. Tuesday.
600 Forest
A 2017 Subaru and a 2011 Honda, both unlocked, were entered and ransacked between 1 p.m. Monday and 9 a.m. Wednesday in the 600 block of Forest Avenue.
400 Main
Au unlocked 2022 Hyundai was entered and ransacked between 3 p.m. Monday and 7:22 a.m. Tuesday in the 400 block of Main Street.
Elmwood and Reba
A wallet and its contents were stolen from an unlocked 2013 Nissan that was entered and ransacked near Elmwood Avenue and Reba Place between 7:30 p.m. Tuesday and 7 a.m. Wednesday.
CRIMINAL TRESPASS
2650 Ridge
Olabode Awoliyi, 35, of 8 E. 9th St., Chicago, was arrested at 2650 Ridge Ave, at 1:44 p.m. Wednesday.
GRAFFITI
1100 Chicago
Graffiti was discovered in blue spray paint on the street in the 1100 block of Chicago Avenue at 7:12 a.m. Tuesday.
1300 Chicago
Graffiti was discovered in blue spray paint on the street in the 1300 block of Chicago Avenue at 7:24 a.m. Tuesday.
400 Howard
Graffiti was discovered in red and blue spray paint on a vehicle in the 400 block of Howard Street at 4:58 p.m. Tuesday.
OTHER
2000 Jackson
Gerald A. Brooks, 55, of 1913 Asbury Ave., was arrested at 2000 Jackson Ave. at 10:46 p.m. Tuesday and charged with consuming alcohol in public.
1570 Oak
Dakar Aaron Frieson, 23, of 1570 Oak Ave., was arrested at that address at 3:42 a.m. Thursday and charged with unlawful use of a weapon.
SHOTS HEARD
600 Sheridan
Gunshots were reported in the 600 block of Sheridan Road at 2:35 p.m. Tuesday. Police checked the area but found nothing.
THEFT
500 Judson
A black 1995 Lexus SC400 was stolen by unknown means from the 500 block of Judson Avenue between 9 p.m. Monday and 2 a.m. Tuesday.
800 Judson
A secured Cruzan beach bike was stolen from the 800 block of Judson Avenue between 9:30 p.m. Monday and 7 a.m. Tuesday.
1600 Chicago
A blue specialized mountain bicycle that was secured to a bike rack in the 1600 block of Chicago Avenue was stolen between 11:40 a.m.. and 9 p.m. Saturday.
2400 Oakton
A catalytic converter was removed from a 2006 Toyota in the 2400 block of Oakton Street between 5 p.m. Friday and 10:40 a.m. Tuesday.
500 Elmwood
A catalytic converter was removed from a 2003 Chevrolet in the 500 block of Elmwood Avenue between noon on Friday and 7 a.m. Monday.
1300 Sherman
Someone stole a wallet out of a backpack in the 1300 block of Sherman Avenue around 1:15 p.m. Saturday.
1900 Sherman
A package was stolen from a residence in the 1900 block of Sherman Avenue around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.
900 Dodge
Cosmetic items were taken from a store in the 900 block of Dodge Avenue around 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.
2500 Princeton
A sticker was removed from a vehicle in the 2500 block of Princeton Avenue between midnight on July 7 and midnight the following day.
1703 Orrington
Jessie D. Beckford, 24, of 10049 Linden St., Des Plaines, was arrested at 1703 Orrington Ave. at 4:15 p.m. Wednesday and charged with theft.
