A bicycle and a cell phone were among items taken by burglars yesterday in Evanston.These among the stories in today’s daily crime bulletin from Evanston police.

Burglary

2100 Emerson

A bicycle was stolen from a home in the 2100 block of Emerson Street around 10:08 a.m. yesterday.

1600 Chicago

An unlocked door to an apartment in the 1600 block of Chicago Avenue provided access for a burglar, who took a cell phone between 12:20 p.m. and 2:04 p.m. yesterday.

Criminal Damage

1100 Hartrey

Someone damaged the window of a 2014 Kia in the 1100 block of Hartrey Avenue between 9 a.m. and 1:13 p.m. yesterday.

Graffiti

500 Sheridan

Graffiti was discovered on the sidewalk in the 500 block of Sheridan Road at 3:34 p.m. yesterday.

Other

1301 Chicago

Christopher Marciano, 31, was arrested at 1301 Chicago Ave. yesterday at 9:30 p.m. and charged with public indecency.

Shots Heard

300 Howard

Gunshots were reported in the 300 block of Howard Street at 3:25 p.m. yesterday. Police checked the area but found nothing.

Traffic

1326 Chicago

Christopher Howard, 42, of 1550 W. Juneway Terrace, was arrested at 1326 Chicago Ave. at 9:27 p.m. yesterday and charged with a traffic violation.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a finding of .guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
