A purse was stolen from a 2019 Chevrolet in the 2700 block of Broadway Avenue between 3 p.m. Sunday and 6 a.m. Monday

Battery

355 Ridge

Ted K. Velleff, 60, of 2750 W. Roosevelt Road, Chicago, was arrested at 355 Ridge Avenue at 11:37 p.m. yesterday and charged with battery.

Criminal Damage

1454 Elmwood

Edgar Valdivia, 27, of 760 N. Overlook Circle, Round Lake, was arrested at Evanston police headquarters at 9:29 a.m. yesterday and charged with criminal damage to property. He is due in court on Dec. 26 at 9 a.m.

An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Court in Skokie.
