Battery

1456 Wesley

Maurice P. Bailey, 28, of 200 Dodge Ave., was arrested at 1456 Wesley Ave. at 6:25 p.m. yesterday and charged with domestic battery. He is due in court on July 12 at 9:30 a.m.

909 Sherman

Phillip J. Lewis, 28, of 909 Sherman Ave., was arrested at that address at 11:44 a.m. yesterday and charged with domestic battery. He is due in court on July 12 at 9:30 a.m.

Burglary

700 Hinman

Burglars used a tool to pry open the doors of two apartments in the 700 block of Hinman Avenue between 8 p.m. Tuesday and 3 p.m. yesterday. Items taken included laptop computers and jewelry.

2500 Ewing

Tools were taken from a 2013 Nissan in the 2500 block of Ewing Avenue between 6 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.

2000 Maple

Documents were stolen from a 2004 Hyundai that was parked, unlocked, in the driveway of a home in the 2000 block of Maple Avenue between  7 a.m. and noon yesterday.

Criminal Damage

1454 Elmwood

Courtney D. Barrett, 29, of 1132 Pitner Ave., was arrested at Evanston police headquarters at 8:16 p.m. Tuesday and charged with criminal damage to property. She is due in court on July 5 at 9:30 a.m.

Criminal Trespass

601 South Boulevard

Andre C. Herron, 51, address unknown, was arrested at 601 South Boulevard at 11:35 p.m. yesterday and charged with criminal trespass to real property. He is due in court on Aug. 14 at 9 a.m.

Drugs

2130 Wesley

Aldrick L. Boothe, 19, of 8325 Keating Ave., Skokie, was arrested at 2130 Wesley Ave. at 3:58 p.m. yesterday and charged with possession of cannabis. He is due in court on Aug. 14 at 9 a.m.

Other

400 Chicago

Kashif A. Bhatti, 33, of 6637 N. Whipple St., Chicago, was arrested at 400 Chicago Ave. at 7:01 p.m. yesterday and charged with unlawful use of a weapon.

Theft

900 Church

Clothing items were lifted from the shelves of a store in the 900 block of Church Street at 3:08 p.m. yesterday.

1910 Dempster

Mansfield L. Wallace, 45, of 1315 McDaniel Ave., was arrested at 1910 Dempster St. at 11:30 a.m. yesterday and charged with retail theft.

Traffic

326 Custer

Leshawn L. Clark, 29, of 6614 N. Artesian Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 326 Custer Ave. at 2:50 p.m. yesterday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on Aug. 7 at 9 a.m.
