A Lexus and a Dodge, both unlocked, were victims of burglaries yesterday on Michigan Avenue and Reba Place. These among the stories in today’s daily crime bulletin from Evanston police.

BURGLARY

700 Michigan

Cash was taken from an unlocked 2015 Lexus in the 700 block of Michigan Avenue around 9 a.m. yesterday.

700 Reba

Burglars gained entry to an unlocked 2004 Dodge in the 700 block of Reba Place at about 2:35 p.m. yesterday and stole a purse and its contents.

THEFT

1800 Maple

A purse was reported stolen from the Hilton Garden Inn in the 1800 block of Maple Avenue at 12:42 p.m. yesterday.

800 Emerson

A convenience store in the 800 block of Emerson Street reported the theft of E-cigarettes at 7:47 p.m. yesterday.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute an assumption of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Court in Skokie.
