Weekend burglaries in Evanston resulted in a snowblower and two bicycles stolen. These stories are among those in today’s daily crime bulletin from Evanston police.

 Burglary

1600 McDaniel

A snowblower was taken after a forced entry to the garage of a home in the 1600 block of McDaniel Avenue between 6 p.m. Thursday and 6:30 a.m. Friday.

1500 Florence

An unlocked door provided access for a burglar to the garage of a home in the 1500 block of Florence Avenue between 8 a.m. and  4:15 p.m. Friday A bicycle was reported stolen in the incident.

2000 Darrow

A bicycle, folding table, and a grill were taken from an unlocked shed in the 2000 block of Darrow Avenue between 11:30 p.m. Thursday and 6:30 a.m. Friday.

Criminal Trespass

Howard at Elmwood

Stephen Anthony Craig, 61, of 1458 Chicago Ave., was arrested at Howard Street and Elmwood Avenue at 4:52 a.m. Friday and charged with trespass to a vehicle. He is due in court on Dec. 31 at 9 a.m.

1128 Chicago

Leroy Mickey Grant, 57, of 2413 Central St., was arrested at 1128 Chicago Ave. at 12:24 a.m. Saturday and charged with trespass on real property. He is due in court on Jan. 8 at 9 a.m.

Graffiti

600 Howard

Graffiti was discovered at a retail establishment in the 600 block of Howard Street at 8:07 a.m. yesterday.

Other

Dodge at Davis

Jamere M. Gregory, 29, of 1803 Hartrey Ave., was arrested at Dodge Avenue and Davis Street at 7:23 p.m. Saturday and charged with an open alcohol violation. He is due in court on Jan. 10 at 9 a.m.

Shots Heard

Elmwood at Brummel

Gunshots were reported at Elmwood Avenue and Brummel Street at 5:25 p.m. yesterday. Police checked the area but found nothing.

Theft

2200 Howard

A man walked out without paying for merchandise at an appliance store in the 2200 block of Howard Street around 4:50 p.m. Thursday.

600 Davis

Someone walked out of a retail establishment in the 600 block of Davis Street without paying for merchandise between noon and 12:30 p.m. Saturday.

Traffic

1805 Howard

Juan Alvarez-Contreras, 38, of 1932 Dodge Ave., was arrested at 1805 Howard St. at 10:23 p.m. Saturday and charged with driving under the influence. He is due in court on Jan. 18 at 9 a.m.

Davis at Dodge

Brad L. Barrett, 28, of 1139 Fowler Ave., was arrested at Davis Street and Dodge Avenue at 7:23 p.m. Saturday and charged with driving under the influence. He is due in court on Dec. 8 at 10:30 a.m.

3200 Simpson

Rodolfo Cisneros, 45, of 4130 N. Mason Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 3200 Simpson St. at 8:55 a.m. Friday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on Jan. 17 at 1:30 p.m.

1820 Chicago

Mariela A. Flores, 34, of 1229 Fowler Ave., was arrested at 1820 Chicago Ave. at 8:22 p.m. Thursday and charged with driving under the influence. She is due in court on Jan. 18 at 10:30 a.m.

1615 Church

Abraham Pineda, 24, of 702 Florence Ave., was arrested at 1615 Church St. at 2:36 a.m.  today and charged with driving under the influence.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
