Four motor vehicles, located throughout Evanston, were burglarized in the last day or two. These stories in today’s daily crime bulletin from Evanston police.

Burglary

700 Sheridan

A GPS unit and cash were taken from a 2015 Lexus in the driveway of a home in the 700 block of Sheridan Road between 11 p.m. Monday and 8 a.m. yesterday.

1000 Foster

Sunglasses and credit cars were stolen out of an unlocked 2010 Chevrolet in the 1000 block of Foster Street between 8 p.m. yesterday and 6:30 a.m. today.

1100 Foster

Stereo equipment was stolen from an unlocked 2010 Jeep in the 1100 block of Foster Street between 8 p.m. yesterday and 7 a.m. today.

1400 Leonard

A GPS unit and cash were taken from a 2007 Toyota in the 1400 block of Leonard Place between 6:45 p.m. yesterday and 7 a.m. today.

Theft

800 Sheridan

An unsuccessful attempt was made to open a package delivered to a home in the 800 block of Sheridan Road around 4 a.m. yesterday.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
