300 Howard

Burglars took $60 in cash from the register at Windy City Fitness, 333 Howard St., between 12:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. yesterday.

Battery

1937 Dewey

Devonte D. Fox, 27, of 1937 Dewey Ave., was arrested at that address at 10 p.m. Sunday and charged with domestic battery.

Graffiti

Ridge at Lincoln

Graffiti was discovered on the sidewalk at Ridge Avenue and Lincoln Street at about 1:30 p.m. yesterday.

Other

1309 Ashland

Zachary Nelson Papi Cohen, 29, of  819 Forest Ave.,  was arrested at 1309 Ashland Ave. at 2:08 p.m. Saturday and charged with unlawful use of a weapon.

Theft

1100 Chicago

Alcoholic products were taken from the Jewel-Osco grocery store in the 1100 block of Chicago Avenue around 2 p.m. yesterday.

1900 Dempster

Alcoholic products were taken from the Valli Produce grocery store in the 1900 block of Dempster Street at 6:05 p.m. yesterday.

Traffic

300 Ridge

Edward Cashun, 20, of 2051 W. Fargo Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 300 Ridge Ave. at 11:15 a.m. yesterday and charged with a traffic violation.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
