Burglary at service station on Chicago


Burglars stole a cash register from a service station in the 1200 block of Chicago Avenue early yesterday. This among the stories in today’s daily crime bulletin from Evanston police.


1838 Ashland

Jeremy E. Brooks, 25, of 1838 Ashland Ave., was arrested at that address yesterday at 11:22 p.m. and charged with assault. He is due in court on June 20 at 9 a.m.


1200 Chicago

Someone broke into a service station in the 1200 block of Chicago Avenue at 2:55 a.m. yesterday and stole the cash register.


3200 Central

Graffiti was discovered on a park building in the 3200 block of Central Street at 9:49 a.m. yesterday.


2107 Darrow

Julian D. Hanna, 23, of 504 Tiffany Drive, Waukegan, was arrested at 2107 Darrow Ave. at 4:25 p.m. Monday and charged with child endangerment. He is due in court on June 30 at 10:30 a.m.

900 McCormick

Amsal Susterac, 21, of 5717 N. Artesian, Chicago, was arrested at 900 McCormick Blvd. at 12:59 a.m. today and charged with disorderly conduct. He is due in court on July 22 at 9 a.m.


2400 Howard

Someone stole alcoholic products from a grocery store in the 2400 block of Howard Street between 10:45 p.m. and 11:15 p.m. Monday.

600 Chicago

Candles, Woolite, and air fresheners were stolen from a pharmacy in the 600 block of Chicago Avenue around 7:34 a.m. Monday.


7500 Damen

Deontae E. Bradley, 28, of 1348 Howard St., was arrested at 7500 N. Damen Ave., Chicago, at 7:19 p.m. yesterday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on June 27 at 10:30 a.m.
