Assault

1617 Simpson

Jada T. Malone, 23, of 1826 Brown Ave., was arrested at 1617 Simpson St. at 4:41 p.m. yesterday and charged with aggravated assault. He is due in court on Jan. 3 at 10:30 a.m.

Burglary

800 Forest

A camping stove and a tool box were among items taken in the burglary of an apartment storage area in the 800 block of Forest Avenue between 2 p.m. on Dec. 10 and 4 p.m. Wednesday.

300 Dempster

Clothing was taken from an apartment in the 300 block of Dempster Street between 9 p.m. and 11 p.m. Thursday.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
