1618 Benson

Gino R. Garcia, 57, of 2121 Dewey Ave., was arrested at 1618 Benson Ave. at 5:40 p.m. Monday and charged with domestic battery. He is due in court on Oct. 19 at 9:30 a.m.

2038 Dodge

Shelton L. Bell, 42, of 2308 Foster St., was arrested at 2038 Dodge Ave. at 9:17 p.m. Monday and charged with violation of an order of protection. He is due in court on Oct. 19 at 9:30 a.m.

Theft

1300 Washington

Someone removed a canoe from the back yard of a home in the 1300 block of Washington Street between Oct. 25 and 3 p.m. Sunday.

600 Chicago

Cosmetics were taken from a pharmacy in the 600 block of Chicago Avenue around 9:30 a.m. yesterday.
