1100 Hartrey

Someone entered a 2000 Chrysler in the 1100 block of Hartrey Avenue between March 21 and 3 p.m. yesterday. Nothing was reported taken.

Battery

1700 Brown

Christopher Morris, 18, of 703 Brummel St., was arrested at 9:35 p.m. yesterday at 1700 Brown Ave. and charged with battery. He is due in court on April 18 at 9 a.m.

Theft

300 Howard

An Apple cell phone and a Samsung cell phone were taken from a retail establishment in the 300 block of Howard Street at about 5:07 p.m. yesterday.

Traffic

500 Dodge

Matthew Simon Caicedo, 35, of 5837 N. Medina Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 500 Dodge Ave. at 12:48 p.m. Tuesday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on May 16 at 9 a.m.

1112 Lake

Calvin James Utley, 18, of 2152 Brown Ave., was arrested at 1112 Lake St. at 5:01 p.m. yesterday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on May 16 at 10:30 a.m.

400 Ridge

Martha Villalobos, 32, of 551 Hinman Ave., was arrested at 400 Ridge Ave. at 10:02 a.m. yesterday and charged with a traffic violation. She is due in court on May 3 at 9 a.m.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
