Evanston police say three occupants fled a car after it hit a tree and knocked over a light pole at 250 Ridge Ave. Saturday evening.
The incident, involving a black 1997 Honda Accord, happened at 7:42 p.m.
The suspects were described as two black males and a black female wearing a black jacket and dark jeans.
Police say they recovered a cell phone and personal property possibly belonging to the suspects from inside the car.
