A car was stolen on Cleveland Street and five more cars were burglarized in the city. Those among the stories in today’s daily crime bulletin from Evanston police.

Auto theft

1300 Cleveland

A black 2008 Acura parked on the street was stolen from the 1300 block of Cleveland Street sometime between 10:40 p.m. Tuesday and 11 a.m. Wednesday.

Burglary

1000 Michigan

Someone stole a purse, sunglasses and cash from a 2011 Subaru parked on the street in the 1000 block of Michigan Avenue between 10:30 p.m. Tuesday and 10 a.m. Wednesday.

1100 Darrow

Someone stole at least a half dozen pairs of women’s shoes from an unlocked 2008 Ford parked in the 1100 block of Darrow Avenue between 9:30 p.m. Tuesday and 4:49 a.m. Wednesday.

1200 Darrow

Someone entered three unlocked cars parked on the street in the 1200 block of Darrow Avenue between about 3 p.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday. The owner of a 2003 Toyota reported a set of black headphones were missing. The owners of a 2016 Honda and a 2008 Honda weren’t sure whether anything had been taken from their cars.

Criminal damage

500 Main

Someone slashed a front tire of a 2008 Land Rover parked on the street in the 500 block of Main Street between 10 p.m. Tuesday and 6 a.m. Wednesday.

Theft

1000 Dempster

A unattended grey Trek bicycle was stolen from the yard of a home in the 1000 block of Dempster street between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. Wednesday.

1600 Chicago

A pickpocket stole a cell phone from the purse of a shopper at a supermarket in the 1600 block of Chicago Avenue between 3:07 and 3:29 p.m. Wednesday.

Traffic

800 Emerson

Jon Kuk Oyune, 37, of 1101 S. State St. in Chicago, was arrested at 2 a.m. today in the 800 block of Emerson Street and charged with driving under the influence. He’s due in court at 9 a.m. on Sept. 26.
