Car tires were slashed, or otherwise flattened, on Ridge, Pitner, and Jackson avenues. These are among stories in today’s crime bulletin from Evanston police.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE

300 Ridge

Tires were flattened and a window was shattered on a 2001 Honda in the 300 block of Ridge Avenue between 1 p.m. and 5:50 p.m. Friday.

1200 Pitner

Tires were slashed on a 2000 Honda in the driveway of a home in the 1200 block of Pitner Avenue  between 11:30 a.m. Saturday and 9:30 a.m. Sunday.

1900 Jackson

Tires were slashed on a 2010 Toyota in the 1900 block of Jackson Avenue between 6 p.m. Saturday and 9:05 a.m. yesterday.

BATTERY

2227 Foster

Patrick Chubaka, 18, of 2227 Foster St., was arrested at that address at 3:51 a.m. Saturday and charged with battery involving physical contact of an insulting or provoking nature.

1818 Hovland

Joshua R. Mack, 46, of 1818 Hovland Court, was arrested at that address at 12:10 a.m. Friday and charged with domestic battery.

BURGLARY

1200 Main

A bicycle was stolen from an unsecured garage of a home in the 1200 block of Main Street between 8 p.m. on Nov. 23 and 9:30 a.m. Thursday.

1800 Grant

A bicycle was stolen upon forced entry to the garage of a home in the 1800 block of Grant Street between 6:05 p.m. and 9:55 p.m.  Friday.

CRIMINAL TRESPASS

327 Sherman

Jaden Christopher Aiken, 19, of 8650 Niles Center Road, Skokie, and Jalen A. Christian, 19, of 6642 S. Mozart St., Chicago, were  arrested at 327 Sherman Ave. at 3:25 p.m. Saturday and charged with trespass to a vehicle.

1616 Sherman

Robert N. Morehead, 35, of 3434 W. 21st St., Chicago, was arrested at 1616 Sherman Ave. at 7:35 p.m. Friday and charged with trespassing to real property.

817 Davis

Christienson Mothe, 26, of 1458 Chicago Ave., was arrested at 817 Davis St. at 8:55 a.m. on Nov. 22 and charged with trespass to retail property and retail theft.

900 Lee

Tully Earnest Smitherman, 54, of 1542 Lunt Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 900 Lee St. at 10:41 a.m. yesterday and charged with trespass to a residence.

GRAFFITI

800 Lake

Graffiti was discovered on a building in the 800 block of Lake Street at 12:15 p.m. Friday.

Poplar at Jenks

Graffiti was discovered on a park structure at Poplar Avenue and Jenks Street at 7:14 p.m. Saturday.

2700 Poplar

Graffiti was discovered at a park in the 2700 block of Poplar Street at 10:27 a.m. Friday.

OTHER

1827 Lyons

Jason H. Myers, 41, of 1827 Lyons St., was arrested at that address at 5:13 p.m. Saturday and charged with a breach of the peace.

THEFT

500 Hinman

A package containing jewelry that had been delivered to a common area of an apartment building in the 500 block of Hinman Avenue was stolen between 8:22 a.m. and 9:13 a.m. Saturday.

1600 Sherman

Electronic accessories were stolen from the downtown Target store in the 1600 block of Sherman Avenue around 7 p.m. Saturday.

1900 Wesley

A 2014 Toyota Corolla was stolen from a parking space in the 1900 block of Wesley Avenue between 3 p.m. Saturday and 10:12 a.m. yesterday.

700 Mulford

A 2017 Acura MDX was stolen from the 700 block of Mulford Street at about 4:15 p.m. Saturday, when the car was left running with the keys inside.

TRAFFIC

Dempster at Judson

Costel Apretrechioae, 53, of 2853 N. Moody Ave., was arrested at Dempster Street and Judson Avenue at 5:17 p.m. Saturday and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol.

Ridge at Lake

Michael Guzman, 31, of 3513 W. Hisrch Ave., Chicago, was arrested at Ridge Avenue and Lake Street at 5:20 p.m. Thursday and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol.

1200 Lake

Tawanna Denise Williams, 40, of 6427 N. Damen Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 1200 Lake St. at 11:21 a.m. on Nov. 23 and charged with driving on a revoked or suspended license.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute an assumption of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Court in Skokie.
