Someone damaged the window of a 2012 Buick in the 1700 block of Lyons Street shortly before 3 p.m. yesterday.

2001 Emerson

Deshawn T. Young-Carter, 27, of 2115 Darrow Ave., was arrested at 2001 Emerson St. and charged with possession of a controlled substance.

Graffiti

600 Forest

Graffiti was discovered at a park in the 600 block of Forest Avenue at 6:31 p.m. yesterday.

1454 Elmwood

Angelo Jason Walker, 28, of 1608 W. Sherwin Ave., Chicago, was arrested at Evanston police headquarters at 5:31 p.m. yesterday and charged with disorderly conduct. He is due in court on May 17 at 1:30 p.m.

Theft

1600 Chicago

Someone stole a wallet that fell out of a purse at a grocery store in the 1600 block of Chicago Avenue around 4 p.m. yesterday.

1800 Emerson

A red 2004 Ford Taurus, left unattended in the 1800 block of Emerson Street with the engine running, was stolen between 10 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. yesterday.

Traffic

3740 Church

Quinn Madsen Cahill, 19, of 1222 Lee St., was arrested at 3740 Church St. at 7:36 p.m. Monday and was charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on June 1 at 10:30 a.m.

1325 Howard

Jose Coronel Rodriguez, 30, of 2010 W. Touhy Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 1325 Howard St. at 3:20 p.m. Monday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on June 6 at 1:30 p.m.

2200 Grey

Anthony Hardy, 53, of 4905 Louise St., Skokie, was arrested at 2200 Grey Ave. at 4:51 p.m. yesterday and charged with a traffic violation.
