Two men accused of carjacking and robbing a pizza delivery driver in Evanston last month pleaded not guilty in Skokie district court Wednesday.

The two, Carletus Jackson, 22, and Christopher Norton, 21, both of Chicago, are to receive drug treatment while in jail awaiting trial on the charges, according to the Chicago Tribune.

Neighbors who helped raise $16,000 so the driver, Stephen Walker, could replace the car the thieves destroyed joined him at the courthouse for the hearing.
