After some confusion about who might actually be willing to accept the faux prize, Rizki managed to hand it off to City Clerk Rodney Greene.

  1. The fault, dear Ponzi, is not in the stars

How much of this debt can be attributed to any actions of Wally B. or Mayor Tisdahl?  Enquiring minds want to know.

Certainly Junad knows that almost all of the debt and pension obligations were incurred before Wally even moved to Evanston, and even before Tisdahl was first elected to Council.

And while it is easy to use politicians as scapegoats, the fact is that it was the residents – especially long-time residents – who enjoyed the city services but did not want to pay taxes.

  2. We paid plenty in taxes for too many screw ups!

Mr Who – the current council, Mayor and Wally B – are still adding to the problem.  Too many mistakes are still occurring.

Last night the newest piece of nonsense – in 2013 they are going to eliminate stickers for cars and go to a license plate id system – how much do you think that will cost?  more nonsense –

Not dealing with the real issues – such as pretending the water department does not need to be looked at in the budget – when they want a 30% increase!

No real capital plan its total screwed up – why did Wally stop all capital spending in 2009?

You need to come to council theres plenty more!
