What? No hybrid vehicles in the city’s Christmas stocking this year?

The alderman was distressed.

But while the city looked for ways to save the planet with expensive vehicles that use more environmental-friendly fuels, Ponzi and his friends noticed energy dollars flying right out of the Civic Center.

  1. Ponzi and Civic Center

What does Ponzi think about this ‘Civic Center’ scam? The people who want to keep the dilipidated old building promised us that repairing and maintaining it was cheaper than building a new one…but it is looking more and more like the old building can’t be saved.

  2. Civic Center

     Dr, Who Knows What?

The Civic Center will be around long after the City files bankruptcy over its pension plans.

  3. Energy dreams at the… Civic Center

Dear Dr. Who Knows (who you are anyway),

I am one of the people who want to keep the "dilapidated old building" and coincidentally  the stately grounds that it resides on too. (and was deeply involved in the Save the Civic Center Movement)

I am also one of the people who are working hard to find solutions to our community’s sustainability problems that include energy efficiency in buildings.

These things are going to happen slowly as the allocation and the funding for Civic building improvements will be a gradual process… I hope you will give the City and its leaders a chance to make the necessary changes – Solutions don’t come easy and we need all the help we can get.

Feel free to contact me directly if you have any time to offer assistance… I’d be happy to hear from anyone who wants to help too!  Thanks.
