Burglary

600 Mulford

Burglars stole cash, plus credit and debit cards, from an unlocked 2001 Toyota in the 600 block of Mulford Street between 11:30 p.m. Monday and 3 p.m. yesterday.

Assault

1831 Brown

Henry A. Mayfield, 66, of 2300 Noyes Court, was arrested at 1831 Brown Ave. at 7:06 p.m. yesterday and charged with aggravated assault. He is due in court on May 24 at 9 a.m.

Drugs

2130 Wesley

Jalil T. Petty, 19, of 140 Callan Ave., was arrested at 2130 Wesley Ave. at 7:30 p.m. yesterday and charged with possession of cannabis. He is due in court on June 29 at 9 a.m.

Theft

7555 Western

Doll Hayes, 56, of 7648 Paulina St., was arrested at 7555 N. Western Ave. at 4:47 p.m. yesterday and charged with retail theft. She is due in court on June 15 at 9 a.m.

Traffic

2255 Howard

Clemente Carreto, 53, of 7415 N. Rogers Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 2255 Howard St. at 8:05 a.m. Friday and charged with a traffic violation. 

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
