Someone removed a catalytic  converter from a Honda while parked in the 700 block of Dodge Avenue. This among the stories in today’s daily crime bulletin from Evanston police.


700 Dodge

A catalytic converter was taken from a 2010 Honda while it was parked in the 700 block of Dodge Avenue between 10 p.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. yesterday.

600 Chicago

Hygeine products were taken from the Walgreens Pharmacy in the 600 block of Chicago Avenue around 9:25 p.m. yesterday.

1700 Sherman

Hygeine products were taken from the CVS Pharmacy in the 1700 block of Sherman Avenue around 5:10 p.m. yesterday.


1718 Oak

Kevin C. Washington, 19, of 2011 Jackson Ave., was arrested at 1718 Oak Ave. at 3:20 p.m. Tuesday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on Oct. 4 at 10:30 a.m.

An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
