Thieves stole catalytic converters from cars in the 2500 block of Bennett Avenue and the 2600 block of Lincolnwood Drive. These among the stories in today’s daily crime bulletin from Evanston police.

Theft

2500 Bennett

A catalytic converter was stolen from a 2003 Chevrolet in the 2500 block of Bennett Avenue between 4:45 a.m. and 5:51 a.m. yesterday.

2600 Lincolnwood

A catalytic converter was stolen from a 2010 Honda in the 2600 block of Lincolnwood Drive between 5 p.m. Monday and 8 a.m. yesterday.

2400 Main

Clothes were stolen from a store in the 2400 block of Main Street at 3:33 p.m. yesterday.

Drugs

Oakton at Asbury

Brandon A. Wright, 30, of 1408 N. Lotus Ave., Chicago, was arrested at Oakton Street and Asbury Avenue at 5:20 p.m. yesterday and charged with possession of cannabis. He is due in court on Dec. 20 at 9 a.m.

Graffiti

1100 Sherman

Graffiti was discovered in an alley in the 1100 block of Sherman Avenue at 7:24 a.m. yesterday.

800 Grove

Graffiti was discovered on the sidewalk in the 800 block of Grove Street at 10:18 a.m. yesterday.

100 Chicago

Graffiti was discovered in the 100 block of Chicago Avenue at 5:28 p.m. yesterday.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
