1600 Sherman

Someone took an unsecured cell phone from L.A. Fitness in the 1600 block of Sherman Avenue around 2:55 p.m. Monday.

2200 Howard

Shoplifting was reported at a store in the 2200 block of Howard Street at 4:48 p.m. yesterday.

Burglary

1800 Madison

Cash was taken from an unlocked 2013 Honda in the 1800 block of Madison Street between 8:30 p.m. Monday and 9 a.m. yesterday.

1600 Florence

Someone entered an unlocked 2008 Toyota in the driveway of a home in the 1600 block of Florence Avenue between 6 p.m. Monday and 9:15 a.m. yesterday.

Criminal Damage

2400 Oakton

Someone ripped signs off the walls of a retail establishment in the 2400 block of Oakton Street between 6 p.m. Monday and 9 a.m. yesterday.

3300 Colfax

The rear window of a 2011 Chevrolet was found shattered in the 3300 block of Colfax Street at 2 p.m. yesterday.

Graffiti

1400 Howard

Graffiti was discovered in an apartment common area in the 1400 block of Howard Street at 4:37 p.m. yesterday.

An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
