Theft

1700 Main

An Apple iPhone 6 was removed from the victim’s backpack at the park at Robert Crown Center between 4:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday.

1600 Orrington

A wallet was removed from a purse at a restaurant in the 1600 block of Orrington Avenue around 1 p.m. Thursday.

900 Noyes

A purse and a laptop computer were taken from an unlocked office in an office building in the 900 block of Noyes Street between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. Saturday.

1700 Orrington

A bicycle was stolen from a bike rack in the 1700 block of Orrington Avenue between noon and 4:30 p.m. Saturday.

2100 Dewey

A green 1996 Chevrolet was stolen from the 2100 block of Dewey Avenue between 4 p.m. Friday and 7 a.m. Saturday.

2748 Green Bay

Taki L. Spencer, 37, of 1835 Hovland Ave., was arrested at 2748 Green Bay Road at 1:49 p.m. Saturday and charged with retail theft. A court appearance has been set for Feb. 22 at 9 a.m.

635 Chicago

Dennis O’Brien Wallace, 20, address unknown, was arrested at 635 Chicago Ave. at 2:38 p.m. yesterday and charged with retail theft. He is due in court on Feb. 22 at 1::30 p.m. 

Burglary

200 Dodge

Cash was taken from an unlocked 2012 Acura in the 200 block of Dodge Avenue between 5 p.m. Friday and 11:12 a.m. Saturday.

900 Elmwood

Cash was taken from an unlocked 2008 Toyota in the 900 block of Elmwood Avenue between 10 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. Friday.

Criminal Trespass

1705 Sherman

Cynthia L. Jordan, 48, of 2121 Dewey Ave., was arrested at 1705 Sherman Ave. at 8 a.m. Friday and charged with criminal trespass of land. She is due in court on Feb. 16 at 9 a.m.

Drugs

1501 Sherman

Jonathan R. Friedman, 45, of 705 Leamington Ave., Wilmette, was arrested at 1501 Sherman Ave. at 6:28 a.m. yesterday and charged with possession of a controlled substance.

Graffiti

2700 Hurd

Graffiti was discovered at 12:10 p.m. Saturday on the grounds of Willard Elementary School in the 2700 block of Hurd Avenue.

Other

100 Asbury

Police checked out a report of a man with a gun spotted in the 100 block of Asbury Avenue at about 5:15 p.m. yesterday, but they found no man with a gun.

1216 Hull

Magdalena A. Pukal, 18, of 1511 Dempster St., was arrested at 1216 Hull Terrace at 11:40 p.m. Friday and charged with possession of an air rifle. She is due in court on Feb. 16 at 9 a.m.

Traffic

1216 Hull

Pedro R. Avila, 18, of 3329 Wilder St., Skokie, was arrested at 1216 Hull Terrace at 2:22 a.m. Saturday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on Feb. 26 at 9 a.m.

2200 Oakton

Emanuel A. Colon, 28, of  4551 N. Clark St., Chicago, was arrested at 2200 Oakton St. at 7:25 p.m. Saturday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on March 9 at 10:30 a.m.

Clark at Jarvis

Donald E. Hall, 25, of 1204 W. 82nd St., Chicago, was arrested at Clark Street and Jarvis Avenue at 9:27 p.m. Friday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on March 1 at 10:30 a.m.

1403 Emerson

Daniel S. Hernandez, 39, of 5505 W. Belmont Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 1403 Emerson St. at 11:35 a.m. Saturday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on March 6 at 9 a.m.
