Someone stole a cell phone from a room at a retirement home in the 400 block of Davis Street between noon and 1 p.m. Saturday.
2900 Central
Metal items were taken by a thief who cut the copper wiring at a retail establishment in the 2900 block of Central Street between 5 p.m. Friday and 8:30 a.m. Saturday.
2500 Green Bay
Metal items were taken by a thief who cut the copper wiring at a retail establishment in the 2500 block of Green Bay Road between 7 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. Saturday.
1100 Garnett
A bicycle was taken from the yard of a home in the 1100 block of Garnett Place between midnight August 12 and 12:31 p.m. Friday.
2500 Ridge
A purse was removed from an office at Evanston Hospital between 2 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Friday.
800 Noyes
Someone stole alcoholic products from a convenience store in the 800 block of Noyes Street at 3:17 p.m. Friday.
Assault
1818 Hovland
Nacey N. Mack, 37, of 1818 Hovland Court, was arrested at that address at 2:11 a.m. yesterday and charged with aggravated assault. He is due in court on Sept. 12 at 9:30 a.m.
Battery
1814 Hartrey
Howard C. Griffin, 50, of 1814 Hartrey Ave., was arrested at that address at 8:19 p.m. yesterday and charged with domestic battery. He is due in court on Aug. 29 at 9:30 a.m.
100 Callan
An individual was shot in the 100 block of Callan Avenue at 1:53 a.m. Saturday. He was transported to a hospital where he refused treatment, police said.
Burglary
900 Ridge
Somone stole cash from an unlocked 2006 BMW in the 900 block of Ridge Court between 5 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. Friday.
1100 Brummel
A purse with cash and credit cards was stolen from an unlocked 2009 Honda in the 1100 block of Brummel Street between 9 p.m. Friday and 4:30 a.m. Saturday.
Criminal Damage
1500 Fowler
Someone bent in the driver side door and the rear door of a 2016 Volkswagen in the 1500 block of Fowler Avenue between 6 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. Saturday.
2600 Sheridan
Someone forced the door open to a government building in the 2600 block of Sheridan Road around 7:12 p.m. yesterday.
1700 Dodge
A passenger window was broken on a 2018 Toyota in the 1700 block of Dodge Avenue at about 4:07 p.m. Saturday.

2106 Central
Christian Madej, 26, of 1846 W. Birchwood Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 2106 Central Street at 1:17 p.m. Friday and charged with use of an account number with intent to defraud.
Shots Heard
Pitner at Greenleaf
Gunshots were reported at Pitner Avenue and Greenleaf Street at 10:03 p.m. yesterday. Police checked the area but found nothing.
Traffic
2000 Dodge
Jeilin M. Harris-Thomas, 19, of 1415 Brown Ave., was arrested at 2000 Dodge Ave. at 4:18 p.m. Tuesday and charged with a traffic violation.
