Burglary
800 Custer
A cell phone was taken from an unlocked 2018 Ford in the 800 block of Custer Avenue between 2 p.m. Saturday and noon on Sunday.
400 Sheridan
A cell phone was taken from an unlocked 2015 Mazda in an apartment parking space in the 400 block of Sheridan Road between 10 p.m. Monday and 7:15 a.m. Tuesday.
Criminal Damage
2800 Hartzell
Someone damaged a fence in the yard of a home in the 2800 block of Hartzell Street around 3 p.m. yesterday.
Other
700 Elgin
Parker J. Cavalier, 24, of 3601 Central St., was arrested at 700 Elgin Road at 3:45 p.m. Tuesday and charged with violation of an order of protection. He is due in court on Feb. 19 at 9:30 a.m.
Theft
600 Chicago
Cosmetics were taken by a shoplifter at Walgreens Pharmacy in the 600 block of Chicago Avenue at 11:23 a.m. yesterday.
1300 Chicago
A package containing bedding merchandise that was delivered to an apartment complex in the 1300 block of Chicago Avenue was stolen between 3:45 p.m. and 4:24 p.m. yesterday.
Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
