THEFT

1600 Sherman

A 59-year-old woman’s cell phone was taken from her bag while shopping at the Target store in the 1600 block of Sherman Avenue between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. Sunday.

800 Washington

A catalytic converter was removed from a 2013 Kia in the 800 block of Washington Street between 7 p.m. Tuesday and 5 p.m. Wednesday.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE

2400 Main

A Volkswagen was keyed while parked in the 2400 block of Main Street around 9 p.m. Thursday.

800 Crain

A 2019 Volkswagen sustained a dent on the hood in the 800 block of Crain Street between 11 a.m. Tuesday and 8 p. m. Wednesday.

300 Ridge

Windows were damaged at a parking garage in the 300 block of Ridge Avenue between midnight and 9 a.m. Monday.

GRAFFITI

1100 Lake Shore

Graffiti was discovered in an alley at Elliott Park in the 1100 block of Lake Shore Boulevard at 10:46 a.m. Thursday.

1200 Elmwood

Graffiti was discovered on the street in the 1200 block of Elmwood Avenue at 11:07 a.m. Thursday.

Incidents are taken from the official records of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute an assumption of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Cases are heard by the Cook County 2nd Circuit Court in Skokie.
