The Central Street Neighbors Association has scheduled a forum for Feb. 22 on the three referenda that will face Evanston voters on March 20.

It’s part of the group’s annual meeting, to be held at 7 p.m. in the Community Room at Three Crowns Park, located at 2323 McDaniel Ave.

Speakers will explain the advisory referendum on the dissolution of Evanston Township and the referendum granting the City of Evanston the authority to arrange for the supply of electricity for its residential and small commercial retail customers.

In addition, representatives from Evanston/Skokie District 65 schools will make a presentation about the referendum to authorize $48.2 million in bonds to improve and expand existing schools and to build a new kindergarten-to-fifth-grade school in the 5th Ward.

Before the start of the forum, the association will conduct its annual meeting that includes election of officers and directors for the year. Although the public is invited to attend the forum, only dues-paying members of CSNA will be eligible to vote at the annual meeting.
