THEFT

100 Clyde

A charcoal grill was reported stolen from the balcony of a second-floor apartment in the 100 block of Clyde Avenue some time after July 4 last year.

2400 Howard

Food items were stolen from a grocery store in the 2400 block of Howard Street around 8:30 p.m. yesterday.

1700 Sherman

Groceries were taken from the CVS Pharmacy in the 1700 block of Sherman Avenue around 1 p.m. yesterday.

BURGLARY

700 Asbury

Someone gained entry to an unlocked garage of a home in the 700 block of Asbury Avenue and stole cash and tools from a 2014 Subaru.

800 Washington

Cash was taken from an unlocked 2013 Hyundai in the 800 block of Washington Street between 10 p.m. Sunday and 8 a.m. yesterday.

900 Washington

Cash was taken from an unlocked 2010 Honda in the 900 block of Washington Street between 11 p.m. Sunday and 10 p.m. yesterday.

GRAFFITI

1900 Jackson

Graffiti was found spray-painted on the sidewalk in the 1900 block of Jackson Avenue at 12:02 p.m. yesterday.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute an assumption of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Court in Skokie.
