The Friends of Evanston Farmers Markets have arranged for personal chef Joe Dugan to demonstrate his talents at tomorrow’s market.

Between 9 and 11 a.m., he will be at the Friends tent in the southwest corner of the market, which is located at the rear of the Hilton Garden Inn Evanston and the city’s Maple Avenue garage, where parking is free to market attendees.

An email from Friends Friday afternoon stated that Dugan was planning to prepare grilled corn, portobello mushrooms, arugula, tomato, and cheese salad with balsamic dressing, but that “the reality will be driven by what’s available tomorrow.”

As a personal chef, Dugan, an Evanston resident, works primarily out of private homes by catering parties, including weddings, holiday parties, and the like.
