Chevy damaged on Elmwood

The front driver side door of a 2008 Chevrolet was found damaged in the 1300 block of Elmwood Avenue. This among the stories in today’s daily crime bulletin from Evanston police.

Battery

1719 Grey

John E. Ross, 25, was arrested at 1719 Grey Ave. at 4:59 p.m. yesterday and charged with domestic battery. He is due in court on Oct. 4 at 10:30 a.m.

Criminal Damage

1300 Elmwood

A 2008 Chevrolet sustained damage to the front driver side door in the 1300 block of Elmwood Avenue between 5:59 p.m. Wednesday and 6:30 a.m. yesterday.

Other

1200 Fowler

A 2008 Mazda station wagon was hijacked in the 1200 block of Fowler Avenue at about 9 p.m. yesterday. Suspect is a 5-foot-4-inch-tall black male.

Traffic

2424 Lake

Jasmine Monjay Wideman, 22, was arrested at 2424 Lake St. at 7:55 a.m. yesterday and charged with a traffic violation. She is due in court on Sept. 20 at 9 a.m.
