2109 Emerson

Venice D. Weekly, 30, of 2109 Emerson St., was arrested at that address at 3:46 p.m. Thursday and charged with child endangerment.

Criminal Trespass

808 Clark

Johnny D. Walker, 58, of 255 W. 112th Place, Chicago, was arrested at 808 Clark St. at 8:23 a.m. yesterday and charged with criminal trespass of a residence. He is due in court on May 15 at 9 a.m.


1454 Elmwood

Canute L. McKenzie, 23, of 1133 Dewey Ave., was arrested at Evanston police headquarters at 12:15 p.m. yesterday and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.


Church at McDaniel

Graffiti was discovered at a construction site at Church Street and McDaniel Avenue at 9:30 a.m. yesterday.


1600 Sherman

Someone stole a cell phone from a store in the 1600 block of Sherman Avenue between 7:43 p.m. Sunday and 7:17 a.m. yesterday.

1800 Sherman

A package delivered to an apartment common area in the 1800 block of Sherman Avenue was stolen between 9:30 a.m. and 9:54 a.m. yesterday.

500 Howard

Food was taken from a gas station in the 500 block of Howard Street around 6:47 a.m. today.

An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
