A Chrome Book computer was stolen from an unlocked Dodge on Hovland Court. This among stories in Tuesday’s daily crime bulletin from Evanston police.

BURGLARY
1700 Hovland
An unlocked door provided access for a burglary to a Dodge vehicle in the 1700 block of Hovland Court between 5:50 a.m. Saturday and midnight Sunday. Reported missing was a black Chrome Book computer.

SHOTS HEARD
1300 McDaniel
Gunshots were reported in the 1300 block of McDaniel Avenue at 1:40 a.m. Tuesday. Police checked the area but found nothing.

THEFT
1300 Dobson
A catalytic converter was removed from a 2010 Toyota that was parked in the 1300 block of Dobson Avenue around 4 a.m. Tuesday.

900 Dodge
Makeup was stolen from the Walgreens Pharmacy in the 900 block of Dodge Avenue around 8:30 p.m. Monday.

600 Mulford
An Apple Airpod was stolen from a residence in the 600 block of Mulford Avenue around 3 a.m. Sunday.

Incidents listed are among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
