The City of Evanston Friday released an update to the public on the Robert Crown Community Center, Ice Complex, and  Library project.

Last week, contractors continued setup of construction trailers and completed temporary fence screening. They also repaired and re-sodded areas associated with mobilization activities.

Next week they plan to clear and strip the site of topsoil, begin construction of the building pad, and begin temporary site utilities work.

No changes are expected to existing traffic patterns, the update said.

Continuing information about the project is available on the project website.
